bill pay solution PayDivvy has launched a free online bill pay and
group payment offering allowing users to view and pay bills from a
single platform.

The solution has been designed to eliminate
the fragmentation that is said to exist in the bill payments arena
today.

PayDivvy claims to be the only service that
automatically divides bills among roommates, friends and family and
then pays those bills automatically.

It is claimed consumers can view and organise
their e-bills online through PayDivvy and pay more than 5,000
service providers via a bank account or credit card with an on-time
payment guarantee.

“If you live with roommates or routinely split
dinner bills among friends and family, you know how much of a
nightmare it can be to manage group finances,” said Michael Melby,
CEO of PayDivvy.

“We created PayDivvy so no one gets stuck
paying an entire group bill or has to deal with the hassle of
hunting down people for their share of the payment again.”

PayDivvy has shown its intention to set itself
apart from its competitors through its social payment features. It
allows users the ability to pay bills as a group in real-time and
either pay or collect money from a friend.

The company recently received approximately
$1.5m in investments from Silicon Valley entrepreneurs, Goldman
Sachs executives and other angel investors.
