Payment Alliance International (PAI), a US-based payment processing solutions provider, has inked an agreement with Ventura County Credit Union (VCCU) to brand 23 ATMs at select Rite Aid stores in Ventura County and Santa Barbara County of California.
Under the alliance, PAI will own and operate the ATMs which will be offered with VCCU branding.
According to PAI, the ATMs will offer VCCU members with surcharge-free access to cash at these Rite Aid locations beginning late April 2014.
PAI said that it has ATMs at more than 60,000 retail locations across the US, providing services for approximately 1,500 Rite Aid locations nationwide.
PAI senior vice president, Gregory Mercer, said: "VCCU is easily and cost-effectively expanding their footprint with Rite Aid ATM placements. We are delighted to be able to help them grow with this high-profile ATM branding program."
VCCU president and CEO, Joe Schroeder, added: "Partnering with PAI to give our members convenient, surcharge-free access to cash at ATMs located in Rite Aid stores throughout Ventura and Santa Barbara Counties simply makes sense."
