Payment’s processing firm Dwolla announced the launch on 5 November 2013 of a partnership with online service marketplace Fiverr in a move aimed at helping to spur adoption of its payment option.
Dwolla’s promotion is targeting specifically the US where the first 10,000 people who use its service to pay for Fiverr will get a free $5 ticket to a gig and afterwards all others will get 20% off.
This new partnership with Fiverr will allow Dwolla to improve on the micro-transactions front. Fiverr has experience in the field, given its integration with PayPal. The partnership will also offer more options to merchants and vendors.
