Payment services provider Paysafe has entered into a global agreement with HomeSend, a joint venture between MasterCard, eServGlobal and BICS, to offer enhanced international transfer options for its NETELLER and Skrill services.
Under the deal, Paysafe’s NETELLER and Skrill services will use the HomeSend global payments hub to deliver more sending destinations and payment options for receiving cross-border money transfers.
The companies have initially partnered in 2014 for the launch of remittance services and currently have services live in six countries in Africa, Asia and Eastern Europe.
Also, this partnership will allow users of Paysafe remittance services to access more options for receiving funds including sending money to mobile wallets registered to local mobile network operators, direct to bank accounts and MasterCard cards.
Paysafe CEO of digital wallets Lorenzo Pellegrino said: "We look forward to working with HomeSend to further extend our payment services into new markets and boost our existing remittance business."
HomeSend CEO Stephen Doyle said: "Paysafe offers an innovative suite of payment solutions and we are pleased to be expanding our partnership with them to enable people to send and receive funds in real-time in additional emerging markets."
