P&T Luxembourg is extending m-payments to users of its online banking service, CCP Connect.

Users of CCP can now use Luxembourg’s mobile payment service, Digicash, by downloading the Post Digicash app to their Android or iOS phone and linking it to one or more current accounts.

François Sauber, head of CCP at P&T, said: "We were won over by the Digicash approach, because it offers obvious advantages to our CCP clients."

"As one of the leaders in payment solutions on the Luxembourg market, the decision to offer Digicash mobile payments to our clients was a logical one. Post Digicash, as part of our strategy for diversifying our product range and our services associated to CCP accounts, illustrates our efforts to innovate in this area."

Digicash can perform immediate mobile payments from customer’s current accounts, and can also be used to pay affiliated retailers, whether at the point of sale, paying a bill online or making an e-commerce payment.
