Qatar Islamic Bank (QIB) has launched a new Visa signature credit card exclusively for its female customers in the country.
Known as QIB Ladies Credit Card, the new offering enables the bank’s women customers to manage their cash flow by choosing an option to pay as low as 5% per month on their card outstanding balance.
Cardholders can avail exclusive privileges such as QIB Reward points based on their spends which can be exchanged on purchasing flight tickets from Qatar Airways or at the Qatar duty free shops. Additionally, they will also benefit from higher credit limits, up to twice their monthly salary.
Additional benefits available for the cardholders include global concierge services, complimentary access to over 500 airport lounges with the LoungeKey service, exclusive discounts and offers at more than 100 merchants / retailers in Qatar and worldwide and full multi-trip travel insurance.
QIB said that all its women customers will be able to own the card free of charge for the first year. Using Visa Checkout Service, the card owners can make online purchases in a simple, fast and safe manner.
QIB general manager of personal banking group D Anand said: “Today’s ladies are influencing the decisions when it comes to making purchases for themselves and their families. Ladies want a card that caters to both their personal needs and those of their loved ones. Our QIB Ladies Credit Card is specially designed to offer them just that.
