RBL Bank has collaborated with financial services company Bajaj Finance to roll out a series of co-branded credit cards in India.

The co-branded credit cards, which are likely to be offered to Bajaj Finance’s existing as well as new customers, are expected to be released in December 2016.

RBL Bank noted that the partnership will strengthen the scale of operations in the bank's growing credit cards business.

The commercial lender said that it will also be benefited from Bajaj Finance’s 29 years of existence with a strong customer franchise of approximately 18 million customers and over 33,000 distribution points.

In collaboration with Bajaj Finance, the bank seeks to build a large franchise of digital and electronic payment users in India.

Established in August 1943, RBL is one of the oldest private sector lenders in the country.
