Regions Bank has launched a new service that allows customers to turn on/off card transaction authorisations on eligible cards through the bank’s mobile app.
Dubbed Regions LockIt, the tool lets users turn on/off authorisations for transactions on their credit and debit cards in real time.

The new tool provides users of Regions Mobile App with improved fraud mitigation and convenient spending control.
Using the new tool, the cardholders can set controls over authorisations for online, in-store or ATM transactions. They can also switch off authorisations when their card is lost or left unintentionally. Once the card is recovered, the users can turn the authorisations back.
The users will receive a real-time alert from the Regions Mobile App when LockIt blocks a transaction, and can view a history of all blocked transactions.
