Regions Bank has introduced a new Visa-branded credit card to allow its customers to build or re-build credit while availing the benefits and flexibility of a traditional credit card.

The new offering, dubbed Regions Explore Visa Credit Card, offers qualifying consumers competitive rates, Visa benefits and the convenience of a credit card.

Available at a fee of $29 per annum, the new card provides credit limit equal to the balance in the Explore card savings account. The chip-enabled credit card does not levy foreign transaction fees.

Cardholders are protected with Visa’s Zero Liability Policy, which limits cardholders’ liability for unauthorised transactions.

Regions Bank head of retail products and payments Rajive Chadha said: “There are all types of needs, when it comes to borrowing money, building credit and managing your finances.

“The new Explore Card helps Regions expand our product offerings, and it provides an option for consumers who might not qualify for a traditional credit card.”
