Ria Money Transfer, a subsidiary of Euronet Worldwide, has entered in a remittance partnership with Austrian Post’s banking entity bank99.
The move will enable consumers send cross-border remittances from the bank’s 400 post office branches and 300 partner locations.
On the other hand, the collaboration provides bank99 customers with access to Ria’s global cash pickup network. The network includes 397,000 locations across 160 countries.
Services are expected to be available in selected branches by 4 May 2020.
Austrian Post CEO Georg Pölzl said: “Fast, secure and convenient, that is what customers expect from a money transfer.
“With Ria Money Transfer we have found the ideal partner for our bank99 to offer our customers not only that right from the start, but also a world-class service.”
