The Bill Manager gathers all bills in a single place and offers a list of the most popular and frequently used ones.

The M-PESA 1Tap capability enables payments on all NFC-enabled Android devices. The service compliments the existing M-PESA 1Tap feature that enables payments for those with a card, wrist band or a phone sticker.

The upgraded app also features a data usage manager, which enables users to view their data usage for a given period.

Safaricom director of strategy Joseph Ogutu said: “This new update brings a range of refinements that will further increase the ease and convenience enjoyed by our customers whenever they interact with our different services.”
