UK-based payments technology firm SafeCharge has selected Mazooma’s eCheck Select technology to offer real-time ACH payments to online sports betting and iGaming operators in the US.
eCheck Select has the ability to corroborate bank-level data such as consumer identification and account data. All this is done in real-time.

With the technology, a transaction can be halted in case of inadequate funds.

“By making eCheck Select available to provide real time ACH payments, we aim to support our customers successfully expanding into the US, further enhancing our innovative omnichannel Payments Engine designed to maximise payment conversions.”
Last year, SafeCharge expanded across the US and Asia. Recently, the firm set up an office in China.
Sports betting was legalised in the US last year, though credit card acceptance is still limited in this sector.
Mazooma said that eCheck Select removes this barrier and offers an undisrupted experience to users.
