Sage Pay offers mobile and social media payments

Online payments gateway Sage Pay has formed a
partnership with mobile and social media commerce specialist One
iota, enabling its merchants to accept mobile and Facebook
payments.

One iota’s Modular Engagement Service Hub
(MESH) claims to be a PCI compliant technology platform
that integrates into Sage Pay’s existing service.

“We’ve made significant technical investments
in recent months in order to integrate with its payment platform,”
said Damian Hanson, CEO at One iota.

“Sage Pay clients will now be able to extend
their e-commerce stores across mobile optimised websites, mobile
applications and branded Facebook fan pages in order to increase
their commerce reach and drive profitability.”

Sage Pay client list currently includes UK
retailers such as National Express, Swift Cover and Sports
Direct.
