sendhybrid, an affiliate of Austrian postal service Osterreichische Post, has selected payments technology provider Wirecard to settle public-sector digital invoices in real time.
Sendhybrid offers payment service to electronic post box users. Wirecard said that the digitised payment service will allow payments to be made in a single click via the hybridPayLink portal.

The payments firm also said that integration of its services will enable invoice recipients to make secure online payments.
sendhybrid managing director and founder Oliver Bernecker said: “Our intention with this new payment service is to modernise traditional postal services and offer a reliable digital alternative.”
Wirecard managing director Roland Toch added: “We are proud to have created a customised product for a company affiliated with Österreichische Post. We create solutions which simplify financial management processes as well as making them both quicker and more efficient for companies and end consumers alike.”
