Heartland, the payments and payroll business of Global Payments and Ingenico Group have upgraded an advanced SMB payment terminal.
Ingenico Group’s Desk/3500 terminal is integrated with Heartland’s technology and software to fulfil the requirements of small and medium sized business customers.
The new SMB payment terminal is PCI PTS 4.x certified and is expected to provide seamless and enhanced payment experience for customers.
It offers a compact and intuitive applications menu to the customers to simplify and facilitate payments at point of sale (POS).
Heartland was responsible for the development of the overall software solution in the smart terminal.
Besides developing the APIs, the company also provided end-to-end encryption support to secure all customer transaction data.
It also provided card data encryption technology on the Desk/3500 along with the Heartland SecureTM Breach Warranty.
