Online social gaming platform Spil Games has
selected e-commerce solutions provider Adyen’s payment platform to
break into emerging markets such as Latin America.
With a network of online social gaming
platforms tailored to girls, teens and families offered in up to 19
different languages, Spil Games has voiced its desire to partner an
internet payment service provider with the capability to adapt to
the specific requirements of local markets around the world and the
flexibility to support multiple payment methods.
Adyen’s solution has been deemed suitable for
Spil Games’ needs and claims its technology is unique in its
ability to offer merchants the flexibility to control the look and
feel of the payment page, which can be viewed on a single
screen.
“Spil Games has a reputation for producing
highly localised and targeted services that appeal to our global
customer base; specialisms that are closely adhered to by Adyen and
its internet payment platform,” said Sidney Mock, CCO of Spil
Games.
“Adyen enables us to streamline the payment
process for our customers, while also providing the functionality
to measure and optimise online conversion for our international
websites.”
UK-based Barclaycard is a well-known customer
of Adyen’s e-commerce payment technology. Their partnership led to
the launch of Barclaycard’s SmartPay platform in September 2010 – a
move that hoped to reduce the number of failed online transactions
and help drive great volumes for its merchants.
