Stein Mart, a US-based apparel department store chain, is set to introduce a new credit card and rewards programme for the credit cardholders.
In collaboration with Synchrony Financial, the US-based cloth retailer has been providing a credit card programme to qualifying cardholders through its Stein Mart Style Platinum Mastercard and Stein Mart Style Credit Card.

The new programme will offer more benefits and a new Elite card to its customers.
Stein Mart said that its card owners will earn points for dollars spent. Additionally, they will also get a new Elite credit card.
As per the new programme, the card owner who shops for $500 in a calendar year at Stein Mart will be eligible to get a new Stein Mart Elite Credit Card.
For every dollar spent at Stein Mart, the Elite cardholders will earn two points and receive free shipping on steinmart.com.
The new reward programme will continue to offer Stein Mart Style Platinum Mastercard cardholders one point for every dollar spent wherever Mastercard is accepted.
Furthermore, Stein Mart Style Credit Card holders will get one point for every dollar spent at Stein Mart with their Stein Mart credit card.
All cardholders will be eligible for an additional 10% discount at their first in-store purchase when an account is opened. The card owners will also receive a $10 reward certificate for every 1,000 points earned and an extra 10% off over the year during Extra Savings Events.
Stein Mart CEO Hunt Hawkins said: “Our customers that have a Stein Mart credit card shop and spend substantially more than those who do not. We believe our enhanced programme will encourage more of our customers to get a Stein Mart credit card and all of our cardholders to use their card more often.
“We have tested various reward and loyalty offerings over the last few years and are confident that this expanded programme will increase customer engagement and sales, especially from our most loyal customers.”
