Payment startup Stripe rolled out its service in Australia, the first country in the Asia-Pacific region, and also began testing in three Scandinavian countries as it expands its international footprint.
The three Scandinavian countries include Denmark, Norway and Sweden, will enable Australian businesses to instantly accept payments from anyone, anywhere across the world.

Stripe said that it will charge 1.75% + 30c for Australian cards and 2.9% + 30c for transactions conducted through international and American Express cards.
In addition, the firm is also bringing its full international currency support, allowing Australian users to charge in more than 100 currencies.
The company has also signed a deal with Chinese payments service Alipay, an affiliate of Alibaba Group, to enable Chinese shoppers to pay for purchases on the US service.
Stripe co-founder and president John Collison said, "Stripe’s mission is to grow Internet commerce by providing everything an online business needs to accept payments."
