Tempo Money Transfer, a France and Germany based remittances service provider, has commenced its operations in Mongolia and Vietnam in association with Russian money transfer firm Unistream.
The joint project will enable customers to transfer money from Tempo’s locations in Germany and France and pick the cash in one of Unistream’s locations in Vietnam and Mongolia.
Following the launch, Tempo’s services will be available in all nine economic regions of Vietnam and 22 provinces in Mongolia, while Unistream will operate in more than 1000 locations in Vietnam and over 500 locations in Mongolia.
Tempo Money Transfer president Jeffrey Phaneuf said that the main customers of the service are Vietnamese and Mongolian nationals residing in France and Germany.
"The new project between Tempo Money Transfer and Unistream, is a successful continuation of the strategic plan to strengthen our positions in Asia, providing people with affordable, high quality services. This makes for an effective decrease in the black market and brings transactions into the open, regulated sphere," he added.
