Tieto has assisted Bosnia and Herzegovina-based lender Raiffeisen Bank to provide contactless payment services for Visa cards via its Card Suite solution.
Through the partnership, Raiffeisen Bank will introduce contactless cards in Bosnia and Herzegovina and will leverage Tieto’s Card Suite Instalments solution to add gradual credit repayment option.

The service will enable cardholders to make quick payments by tapping the terminal without the requirement to enter their PIN and will allow repaying the card’s credit in installments.
Tieto Cards director Maris Ozolins said: "Currently, contactless payments are in the spotlight on the payment cards market.
"With this extension of bank services, cardholders are able to use contactless card more actively, considering the additional measures provided, which gives cardholders confidence of safety when using a contactless card."
