TouchBistro, a restaurant point-of-sale software provider based in Canada, has teamed up with WePay, a JPMorgan Chase company, to power its new payment technology for restaurants called TouchBistro Payments.

TouchBistro Payments will facilitate instant payment processing as well as offer an integrated mobile payment device that will offer customers various payment options such as tap, chip, and traditional magnetic strip.

TouchBistro founder and CEO Alex Barrotti said: “With TouchBistro Payments powered by WePay, our restaurants will onboard instantly, so they can start taking payments the moment they unbox TouchBistro.

“Both restaurant owners and customers will experience easier payment processing with the new mobile EMV compliant payment device for digital, credit and debit card transactions.”

The collaboration will offer TouchBistro a promotional platform to market its restaurant point-of-sale solution on Chase channels.

It will also enable restaurants, who conduct business with Chase, to instantly integrate with TouchBistro.

WePay co-founder and CEO Bill Clerico added: “And with the scale of Chase behind us, TouchBistro Payments has amazing potential for long-term growth.”
