TSYS, a US-based credit card processor, has extended its agreement with Valley National Bank to provide issuer processing services for the bank’s consumer credit and debit card portfolios.
Under the new agreement, TSYS will continue to deliver Valley National Bank additional services, including data analytics, fraud prevention and customer support.

Commenting on the agreement, Valley National Bank first senior vice president Thomas Sparkes said: “TSYS has been a trusted provider for Valley for two decades. They have provided a tremendous level of support and product expertise over the years, affording our customer base the best service we could ask for.”
TSYS president for North America issuer solutions Allen Pettis said: “Our relationship with Valley National Bank is one that we can be proud of as a company.
“The level of trust and collaboration between our two businesses has made it easy for us to provide the elite service that they have come to expect for their cardholders.”
Financial terms of the deal were not revealed.
