TSYS, a US-based payment solutions provider, has signed a multi-country agreement with Scotiabank to provide issuing and acquiring processing services on the TS Prime platform from TSYS’ Latin American data centre in Brazil.
The contract enables Scotiabank to convert its consumer card and acquirer portfolios in Costa Rica and Panama to TSYS’ TS Prime processing solution. TSYS will also offer fraud, risk and portfolio management tools.

TSYS Latin America general manager Ross Stewart said: “This agreement underpins the next phase of our growth strategy within the Latin American region, offering cross-border processing services on our modern, agile, server-based TS Prime platform from our regional hub in Brazil.

TS Prime processing platform for Latin America is a TSYS’ Prime business solution service, which offers licensing, processing and hybrid managed services to global markets.
