Payment solutions provider TSYS has introduced a new payment brand targeted at small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs).
Dubbed Vital, the new brand will initially offer the Vital POS range that includes three products. These products are Vital Mobile, Vital Plus, and Vital Select.

Vital Mobile is an EMV card reader for a mobile phone or tablet. The product targets merchants looking for an affordable payment acceptance platform.
Vital Plus is a replacement for countertop payment terminals and electronic cash registers.
Vital Select offers a full-featured POS system for merchants with one or more physical locations.
All the products have back-office features such as analytics and reporting, inventory management, taxes, time-clock and employee management, discounts and pricing functionality.
TSYS Merchant Solutions senior executive vice president and president Philip McHugh said: “Business owners are looking for more than just payment acceptance, and that’s what Vital delivers.
“It allows them to run their whole business on the platform through a single user interface — making short work of tasks like inventory, time and attendance and reporting.”
The Vital POS suite will utilise technology acquired by TSYS via its takeover of iMobile3, which was announced in June last year.
iMobile3 is a Florida-based valued added technology services provider to the payments industry.
