Prepaid e-voucher provider Ukash has expanded
its presence in Belgium, a move which is claimed to signify its
commitment to its existing markets.
Through a deal with the Belgian national
Bancontact/Mr.Cash system, Ukash is now available at a further
2,500 points of sale and online in Belgium. Vouchers are obtainable
from Trendycash terminals or instantly online from the Prepaid4.me
pinshop in denominations of €10 ($13), €20, €50 and €100.
Consumers can pay for Ukash vouchers through
their own internet banking using Bancontact/Mr.Cash payments
systems.
“Over the last few years Ukash has been
focusing on expanding its geographical footprint,” said Ukash’s
newly appointed CEO, David Hunter.
“Whilst continuing to do this, we also want to
ensure we optimise our existing core markets; and this expansion in
Belgium is a great example of that. This approach complements our
product focus, as we seek to add ever greater utility to Ukash,
making us the natural choice for anyone wishing to deposit, spend,
or send cash online.”
Ukash vouchers are available at 420,000 retail
locations in 50 countries worldwide.
