UnionPay International has teamed up with Jordan-based payment services provider International Cards Company (ICC) to issue the first UnionPay card in Jordan.

The deal will cover a broad range of UnionPay card products such as credit cards, business cards, as well as prepaid cards.
The cards will support various currencies including Jordanian dinar, US dollar and CNY.
Scheduled to be rolled out in cards in Jordan from the second quarter of next year, the cards can be used in over 150 countries and regions worldwide.
In addition to Jordan, UnionPay card services have been rolled out in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait, Turkey, Oman, Yemen, Iraq, Qatar, and Israel.
