US-based mobile banking company Varo Money has entered into remittance partnership with money transfer company WorldRemit.
The partnership will enable Varo customers to send cross-border fund transfers directly from their mobile phone.
The service is enabled through the integration of WorldRemit into the Varo app.
WorldRemit currently operates in 6,500 money transfer corridors enabling fund transfers to 150 nations. It is headquartered in the UK. The company also has offices in the US, Canada, South Africa, Japan, Singapore, Australia, New Zealand and the Philippines.
Varo Money head of partnerships Jaime Jerusalmi said: “Varo customers value being able to move money to loved ones easily and we’re always looking to add convenience to their lives.
“The partnership with WorldRemit will help Varo customers make international money transfers easily and at a low cost.
