"NPCA and VeriFone are showing how easy it is for petrol retailers to offer mobile payment and reward options to customers that increase loyalty and sales."
The payment system comes with the option for merchants use a white-label app provided by NPCA to allow customers to pay and receive loyalty rewards using their smartphones.
Danilo Portal, Chief Operating Officer of NPCA, said: "Many consumers today would rather utilize the capabilities of their smartphones versus pulling out their wallets.
