Visa Europe Collab has partnered with Roland Berger Strategy Consultants to launch its third digital innovation hub in Berlin-Kreuzberg in autumn 2015.
Earlier this year, the company launched similar hubs in London and Tel Aviv.
The digital hub will gather corporates, experts and start-ups from different industries to develop and support digital innovations as well as business models and enables cross-industry knowledge transfer.
The hub will provide faster access to commercial markets for innovation projects and delivers a way for bigger companies to drive their own digital transformation.
The joint venture will provide different formats such as startup pitches, networking events, coaching sessions, co-working spaces and the programming and building of prototypes.
In its first year, Visa Europe Collab in Berlin will also take a minimum of 20 ideas through a 100-day innovation funnel.

By GlobalDataThe hub will allow fintech founders and start-ups to test innovative ideas in the 100 day innovation sprint, allowing them to develop pilot projects as well as technologies and services that will change the way people interact with payments.
The digital hub contributes to Roland Berger’s strategy in defining and reshaping the way corporates do business in an emerging digital economy, across all business units and workflow methodologies.
Roland Berger Strategy Consultants CEO Charles-Edouard Bouée said: The hub is open to all industries from all countries, Europe in particular. Hub participants take the new knowledge back into their companies and use it to advance their digital transformation."
Roland Berger head of digital practice Björn Bloching said: "While most digital labs focus on creating technical and business model innovations, we go further: digital transformation affects the entire value chain as well as all functions and processes of a company, including cross-functions like human resources or finance, which are often neglected in digital initiatives."
