Kuwait-based Warba Bank has unveiled its point of sale (POS) terminal and the Electronic Payment Gateway (EPG) services for their customers.
The new services will allow Warba’s merchant customers to collect payments from their respective clients at competitive rates and in line with the provisions of the Islamic Sharia.
Warba Retail Banking Group cards department manager, Talal Al-Arbeed, said: "By using POS terminals, Warba’s merchant customers will be able to develop their sales and collect payments from their clients holding any K-Net, Visa or Master Card, to be deposited directly into their bank accounts.
"Additionally, Warba is in the process of developing an online merchant portal as well as mobile applications for Apple and Android systems so as to enable customers to safely, confidentially and efficiently check the financial transactions made via the POS terminal."
Al-Arbeed added: "Warba Bank introduces the Electronic Payment Gateway for merchant customers, enabling them to collect their payments. By doing so, Warba Bank contributes to supporting entrepreneur customers, streamlining their financial transactions in a very confidential manner."
