Payments solutions provider Westpay has inked an agreement with cash handling company Loomis to offer digital payment solutions.
Under the four-year agreement, Westpay will offer Loomis payment solutions for cashless on-site transactions.

Known as Carbon, the terminal range was introduced in November last year.
Initially, the payment solutions will be available in Finland and Sweden. Plans are on for a broader roll-out in Europe later.
Commenting on the tie-up, Westpay CEO Sten Karlsson said: “The partnership allows us to reach new markets, and will enable Loomis’ customers to benefit from unified and improved management of payments, regardless if its cash or cashless.”
Westpay has operations in the Nordic countries, Europe, Africa, South- and South East Asia, as well as Australia.
Earlier this year, the firm signed a partnership with Wirecard to expand digital payments capabilities of merchants in the Nordics, further Europe, and South Africa.
Westpay also counts Elavon, Svenska Handelsbanken, Interblocks, and ABSA Bank as clients, among others.
Meanwhile, the solutions provided by Loomis manage the distribution, handling, storage and recycling of cash.
Loomis’ branch network is spread out across 400 locations in more than 20 countries. It tends to banks, retailers and other operators.
