Indian mobile payment solution Wibmo has launched a new payment ecosystem and marketplace for consumers, called WibmoPay 2.0.
The WibmoPay 2.0 caters to offline and online users by offering multiple payment options. It aims at making shopping and payment easier for the consumers.
Consumers can make small or large purchases through the Wibmo app by utilising debit or credit cards, QR code, IMPS, UPI, and NFC payment options.
It is also supports bill payments and mobile recharge services. All transactions made through the app are protected by Trident risk engine to prevent frauds.
Wibmo CEO Govind Setlur said: “Our goal has been to maximise payment convenience for consumers while keeping them simple and secure.
“With our mobile app, our users have many ways to pay, whether to individuals or merchants using debit/credit cards to QR codes and UPI.
“With these many options, the consumer can pay just about anyone. Backed by truly frictionless, advanced authentication features, and Trident enterprise-level fraud and risk management system, our users can be assured about their transactions.”
WibmoPay 2.0, which will be offered to banks and NBFCs, is designed for swift deployment and go-to-market.
The company also noted that WibmoPay will continue to add new merchants, which are popular among shoppers, to its market place.
Headquartered in California, Wibmo introduced Trident as a fraud management system for digital payments in June. Trident replaced eGuard, its first generation fraud prevention system.
