German optical retailer Apollo has teamed up with local payments firm Wirecard for payment processing in the e-commerce shop.
Wirecard will allow one to make payments for online purchases and get the items delivered at home or Apollo branches.
The solution of Wirecard integrates into the web shop and supports all Apollo payment methods, the payments firm said.
The payment processing complies with PCI Security Standards and goes through AI-based risk management monitoring.
Wirecard EVP retail and consumer goods Christian Reindl said: “We want to enable an optimal online experience.
“This includes the online ordering and payment process, as well as delivery to the customer’s selected location. Wirecard is Apollo’s digital financial technology partner.
