Wirecard has supported the integration of the WeChat Pay option, increasing the e-commerce offering for Chinese online shoppers.
The partnership will enable online European merchants to incorporate WeChat Pay.
As a result, Chinese shoppers will be able to pay using WeChat Pay at these merchants online or in the app.
The initiative, supported by SwissPost, also includes logistics and customs support, along with consulting and training.
Wirecard will be responsible for managing payment processing and supporting the integration process.
At the same time, the firm will provide marketing support as well as virtual workshops for the initiative.
