Digital financial services provider Wirecard has been contracted to offer tire services company reifen.com an omnichannel payment solution.

Under the agreement, Wirecard will be responsible for reifen.com’s payment processing across its 37 brick and mortar branches and online shop.

Additionally, the collaboration will enable reifen.com online customers to pay via Diners/Discover, Masterpass as well as direct debit.

reifen.com managing director Michael Härle said: “The digitisation of our service offering is a high priority for us, as we can only consistently improve if our business remains fit for the future.

“Wirecard is the right partner for us in digitising our payment processes. Together, we can create seamless shopping experiences for our customers.”

The collaboration also includes the deployment of a customised version of the risk management Fraud Prevention Suite (FPS). The proposition will be used to identify data and behavioural patterns in real time and boost security of all payment options, leveraging machine learning and artificial intelligence (AI).
