Worldline has introduced the WL One Commerce Hub, which will serve as a single payment platform for Europe and beyond and support payment strategies of merchants across different points of interaction and geographies.

According to the vendor, the new hub enables businesses to enter new markets with optimised transaction costs. Through the hub, merchants can offer the ‘try and pay later’ services.

The hub consolidates transaction data irrespective of the point of interaction or the country, utilising tokenisation technology,.

Merchants are said to launch new concepts such as pop-up stores, self-checkout, online and mobile interactions, leveraging the hub’s modular design.

In addition, they can offer subscribe in-store or customer retargeting services that are based on tokenisation.

Worldline managing director for merchant services Vincent Roland said: “The environment in which Merchants now operate is transforming due to digitalisation, globalisation and growing consumer expectations.

“Worldline, as a Payment and Digital Innovator, is proud to announce the launch of our powerful end-to-end payment orchestrator solution: WL One Commerce Hub. Now merchants get a single global payment solution perfectly matching their requirements for Europe and beyond. I’m very glad to say it has already been given the go ahead by many of our clients.”
