Payment solutions provider, Worldnet has partnered with IDTech to integrate Quickchip in its GoChip point-of-sale (PoS) payment products.
The integration is intended to support ‘one-second’ transactions with chip cards.
The new solution will ensure better security for both cardholders as well as merchants.
Merchants can deploy the Quickchip technology and migrate from existing MSR PoS devices to low-cost chip-based solutions in order to provide optimised transactions for their customers.
Worldnet co-founder and CEO said: “Our objective here at Worldnet is to provide payments solutions that are super-fast, secure and a positive experience for the consumer at point-of-sale.
“Deployment of Quickchip minimises transaction time for the consumer, delivers increased security and reduces exposure to fraud for the merchant.”
Worldnet delivers omni-channel payment platform solutions for its corporate clients across North America and Europe. Its Payments as a Service solution includes various chip-enabled applications to support PoS, mPoS, mobile and tablet-based transactions.
The company previously partnered with IDTech in October 2016 to facilitate EMV chip-card acceptance for cloud-based and mobile merchants, unattended kiosk manufacturers, and retailers.
Under the collaboration, Worldnet combined its GoChip EMV SDK toolkit with ID TECH’s EMV certified hardware. The integrated solution is compatible with any third party PoS terminal.
GoChip works with standard PoS, and also iOS and Android operating systems for tablet PoS.
