Xpress Money has announced that it plans to increase its presence in Latin America to 40,000 locations by the end of this year by forming strategic partnerships.

The company revealed that it started talks with a number of potential partners in the region at the recently concluded IMTC conference held in Guatemala.

Commenting about the expansion plans, Xpress Money COO Sudhesh Giriyan said: "With the growing number of people moving abroad and sending money to their home countries, it is imperative for international money transfer brands like ours to equip ourselves to cater to the growing needs of customers.

“Through our growing presence in Latin America, we aim to ensure a convenient and secure money transfer process, both for the sender abroad as well as the beneficiaries in the region."

Xpress Money has created a network of 180,000 agent locations in 160 countries in a span of 17 years.
