Indian mobile wallet provider xpWallet has launched its mWallet Bank Integration System. The product is aimed at mobile network operators, banks and merchants who can use it to offer customers the opportunity to manage funds via their mobile device, integrating a bank account to a mWallet without visiting a branch.
mWallet Bank Integration enables a financial institution issue its own branded mobile wallet or integrate one into an existing mobile platform. A user is then able to transfer money from bank account to mobile wallet and back again.
Customers who wish to use the service must register with their bank account and link to the mWallet to get instant notifications of account activity and access to transaction reports.
