Zicix Corporation has wrapped up the acquisition of smart card technology that will be incorporated in the company’s upcoming Smart Money Card.

Scheduled to be rolled out later this year, the Smart Money Card will be a Frequent Shopper programme. Later the technology will be integrated with a pre-paid Visa or Mastercard.

The card will enable retailers to incorporate their Frequent Shopper programme in the Zicix Smart Money Card and help them to avoid multiple cards to deliver full benefits.

Shoppers, who will use Smart Money Card, will be provided with benefits such as paperless coupons integrated seamlessly at purchase, promotional programmes, discounts on merchandise, as well as the loyalty points.

The card will also help retail outlets to gain consumer loyalty while increasing the sales volume. The buying patterns and customer demographics is also expected to deliver valuable marketing information to the retail stores.

Zicix stated that its Frequent Shopper Card will include increased data security and storage and promises to offer benefits to shoppers and retailers alike.

The card will also offer transaction security, audit, and reporting feature, which have been designed to provide fraud deterrents.
