VocaLink and Clairmail collaborate on mobile channel

VocaLink and mobile banking specialists
Clairmail are working together to develop real-time P2P mobile
payments products.

The partnership brings together Clairmails
m-payments solutions and VocaLink’s Faster and Immediate Payments
capabilities.

In a statement, VocaLink said the move will
enable banks “to provide a roadmap of innovative, real-time banking
solutions through the mobile channel”.

Marc Terry, Managing Director for Global
Transaction Services at VocaLink, said: “As smartphone sales
continue to soar and consumer demand for mobile banking increases,
