American payments company Branch has launched its Employer Payments Platform (EPP) for businesses in the US.

The company aims to help businesses boost payments by creating a platform that offers an integrated solution.

Businesses can use the Branch EPP solution to move money to their employees instantly.

It enables both employers and technology partners to deliver on-demand payments, by integrating the solution directly into their technology stack, using open APIs.

Alternatively, they can use the Branch’s current HR, POS, and payroll solutions via its network of partners including Rippling, UKG, Servant Systems, ProPoint Solutions’ SuperSalon, and RASI.

Rippling, a HR, payroll, and IT platform, has recently adopted the Branch EPP solution, and embedded it into its platform.

Rippling COO Matt Macinnis said: “No one should have to deal with cash or physical paychecks in a pandemic. We are thrilled to be partnering with Branch to give hourly workers safe, easy access to the wages they have earned. Now customers can automatically enrol and bank their employees in Rippling.”

In addition to facilitating free financial services to support employees, Branch allows businesses to automate their processes, reduce payroll costs, and improve cash flow.

Businesses can also provide their employees with access to tools like digital payouts of tips, wages, and other disbursements, earned wage access, fee-free banking, and paycard alternatives.

Branch CEO Atif Siddiqi said: “Employers and technology partners alike see the need to innovate payments but building a full-out offering requires extensive technology, time, and support.

“We launched the Employer Payments Platform to eliminate barriers to entry and provide a solution that allows businesses to get set up easily and quickly derive value.”
