This is planned to be achieved by combining InvoiceCloud’s cloud-based payment and engagement solutions with ESC’s integration, implementation, support, and services.

Recently, City of Dothan, Alabama tapped ESC for a $12m digital transformation initiative, which covers the integration of streamlined digital services such as digital permit processing, and enhanced employee self-services.

The project will also see the deployment of new online payment and account management solutions from InvoiceCloud.

Invoice Cloud president Tom Griffin said: “This is an important recognition for our SaaS technology platform, which is now being used by more than 1,700 government entities.

“Additionally, this is an important win for City Governments, Investor-Owned Utilities and Public Owned Utilities working with ESC to streamline their operations and provide their citizens and customers a more engaging and secure payment experience.”

The latest collaboration also includes integration with ESC’s suite of digital solutions.

This includes Utiliprise to support online bill pay and management services.

ESC Partners CEO RJ Kumar said: “As an organisation who is the front-runner in Oracle Customer Cloud Service (CCS) implementations globally, we were seeking a teammate who is aligned with our pace and view of the future.

“We are both evolutionary catalysts in our respective fields and this partnership is ultimately a big win for our customers.”

Set up in 2009, Invoice Cloud is currently said to have more than 2,100 US clients and over 50 million payments processed annually.

Last year, the company upgraded its online bill payment platform by adding Apple Pay and Google Pay as new payment options.
