The partnership with Vodeno and Aion Bank marks BLIK’s first as-a-service agreement

The agreement will enable various entities from financial and non-financial sectors across Europe to be able to use BLIK’s services.

Vodeno and Aion Bank combine a scalable and flexible cloud-based platform with comprehensive banking services, based on Aion’s European Central Bank license, regulated by the National Bank of Belgium.

This allows Vodeno and Aion Bank to integrate various financial solutions, including instant payment solutions in local currencies, directly into the systems of their customers among retail, e-commerce, fintechs or banks.

Dariusz Mazurkiewicz, President of the Management Board, Polish Payment Standard, BLIK operator, said: “Expanding the portfolio of participants in our system within the embedded finance model opens new growth opportunities for us not only in Poland, but also globally. I am convinced that BLIK’s partnership with renowned players such as Vodeno and Aion Bank will significantly support the development of mobile payments in Europe. We will soon see the first results of our cooperation and, thus, the first implementations.”

Noah Sharp, CEO of Vodeno, commented: “The Vodeno Cloud Platform is designed to fully integrate banking and payment services. Now, by partnering with BLIK, we can provide another modern and secure payment solution to the European market, meeting the growing needs and expectations of consumers. We believe that the combination of our advanced technologies with the innovation of the BLIK system will create new standards within financial services, opening up new opportunities and experiences for our clients and their end customers.”
